With the Le Grand Macho RT we offer now an active cooling version of the semi-passive cooler. A temperature-controlled TY-147 B (PWM) is included with the cooler, which is a new development of the TY-147 A. Thanks to the special side vents the fan is even more quietly. The Le Grand Macho RT achieves an active cooling performance of 280 TDP

Like the Macho Rev.B, the Le Grand Macho RT offers a significantly enlarged, nickel-plated and highly polished base (53 x 40 mm). So the cooler is perfectly suited to work with the new Intel Core i7 high-performance CPUs with up to 8 cores.

The optics of the Le Grand Macho RT adapts to the other members of the Macho family and offer in combination with the black anodized top fin a probably unique elegant appearance.


The TY 147 B fan features a low-wear “Fluid Dynamic Bearing”. The air flow of the for ultra-silent operation optimized fan varies between 29 and an impressive 125 m³/h, while generating a noise level of about 14 – 20 dB(A). The revised fan with its unique design features the mounting points of a conventional 120 mm fan and has a larger inner diameter than conventional 140 mm fans. The fan is fitted securely to the heatsink with the included, revised fan brackets - adhesive anti-vibration pads allow for decoupled mounting.

The aluminum cooling fins are perforated by a plurality of air holes, which counteract air accumulation between the cooling fins. The special design of the heatsink’s aluminum fins allows for a particularly low air resistance. The oval air duct in the middle of the cooler provides controlled air turbulence within the heat sink, whereby the heat can be dissipated more effectively.

The nickel-plated C1100 copper base plate of the cooler is a high gloss polished and has a slightly convex-shaped contact surface. The convex shape – compared to flat surfaces – further optimizes the cooling performance - especially in Intel systems. This system, which has been developed by Thermalright years ago, has since been “adopted” by other manufacturers as well.

As with all our high performance coolers the Le Grand Macho RT makes use of the well-proven heat pipe technology. A total of seven high-performance 6 mm heatpipes provide the most efficient dissipation of the generated processor heat. The heatpipes are tightly integrated into the nickel-plated copper base plate, which guarantees the most effective heat dissipation.

A universal mounting kit is included with the Le Grand Macho RT that supports all actual Intel- and AMD sockets (Intel LGA775/1366/1156/1155/2011/1150/2011-3/1151* und AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3/FM1/FM2/FM2+).

Also included in the package is our Thermalright Screwdriver. With this extra-long screwdriver, which has a magnetic tip, it is very easy to install the cooler, even if the motherboard has already been mounted in the case. The equipment is completed by the excellent Thermalright Chill Factor 3 thermal paste (syringe).

The Le Grand Macho RT gives you the opportunity to create your individual vision for the ideal cooling of your PC. Please note that to ensure a sufficient cooling capacity is your responsibility and we cannot be held liable for any damages arising from an incorrect configuration.

*We strongly recommend to use our specially designed 1151 Support Spacer when mounting the cooler on LGA11 “Skylake” CPUs. Please send us an email, to receive them for free.

SHIPMENTS

All shipments are processed from our offices in Rome and are handled by leading international couriers based on the final destination, weight and value of the order.
Orders are processed within 2 business days.
The delivery of the products is carried out within 4 working days from the confirmation of the order (you will receive an email containing the tracking code of your order).

The courier delivers from Monday to Friday between 8.30 and 18.00.
It is not possible in any way to fix the time and / or day of delivery of the products, nor is it possible to request delivery to post office boxes.

The contribution for transport costs calculated during the order may vary in cases where the bulk and / or weight of the goods exceeds the minimum weight / overall dimensions.

Should the shipping address differ from the billing address, please specify it in the notes accompanying the order to avoid unnecessary delays.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (APPIEFFE GROUP SRL, Via Codigoro 9, 00127 Rome, Tel +39 06 92939466, email: info@trippodo.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a declaration explicit (e.g. letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). To this end, you can use the attached withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the relevant communication
to exercise the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Pursuant to art. 5 of Legislative Decree 206/2005, the Customer who purchases goods for purposes not related to his professional activity and therefore makes the purchase indicating the Fiscal Code and not the VAT number, has the right to withdraw from the remote purchase contract within 14 calendar days starting from receipt of the order (Legislative Decree 21/2014 of 21 February 2014) by preferably sending a communication by registered letter with return receipt at the address:

The refund will be made within 14 calendar days from the arrival of the object at our office.

NB: The costs of returning defective or non-compliant goods will be at our expense.
